Social organisation

The only downside I can see to not having a Facebook anymore is trying to organise social stuff easily.

If I created a mailing list, would people be interested in being on it?  I would probably send out a couple of emails a month to organise stuff, depending on business.  It would probably be both London and Cambridge-centric.

It's funny how you mention this, because I'm the type of person that ignores social invites on Facebook and tries to do it all the semi-traditional way (emails, phone calls etc. etc.) I have no idea why. For someone who works in new media, I can be a bit of a technophobe :P.
