Sadly I had no trouble at all getting into work today ;)

I really wish they would stop telling people not to travel unless we have to - of course we have to, we have to go to work!

Seems Leeds is better off than London, as not only do we have buses today, but they seem to be running well.

Ah ha; so they're like WR's and my workplaces were with the snow central North Carolina had two weeks ago. We were, honestly, about the only non-emergency places open.

Actually most of the North is still open. We haven't been hit as bad as the South

I'm going to wear: longjohns (apparently the trendy name for these is base layer wear...), trousers, two pairs of thick socks, boots, two vests, thick sweater, coat, gloves, hat, scarf... and you know I'll still feel cold. And I'm catching the bus (hoping that it works) 'cos me + snow = very bad things.
