[Charlotte is lurking around town! ...Lurking around town in a peculiar outfit, actually. You see, the other day she discovered what seemed like an Arima maid outfit, and after trying it on she found it was only slightly too small! (and mostly in the chest) so the practical result is that she's in the main square of town dressed like Read more... )

[There's a demon lady out shopping for misc. items on this fair-ish day after discovering how far her to-do list was backed up goddamn drugs. Undoubtedly, she'll see Charlotte on her way through town, along with the outfit she's sporting.

Actually, she's pretty cute in it and it doesn't deter Mom from approaching her.]

Mmm, you the newest mascot?

[And closer now, she takes in the outfit and gestures easily to her chest.]

I could have let that out for it if you asked.

Let it out...? But wouldn't that be indecent? [No really Mom, what are you thinking? Charlotte even blinks a bit at this because that seems really out of place. And then she looks down at her chest... oh. That does look a bit tight]

[Sweet Netherworld child, Mom will just roll her eyes.]

Trust me, as someone who knows tricks on how to save money, I know how to alter clothes to make them fit better. You're over all the time as it is, you might as well take advantage.

[If she's offering she don't mind.]

Ohoho, though this is a pretty good publicity stunt.

[Even if maids have no correlation with Brave Vesperia.]

Oh! But I can't really take it off right now... [She nods and shrugs the sign a little, smiling] But maybe you can help me out tonight with it? It is really tight...

[And here she tries to pull at the fabric around her neck and... it's not exactly easy to even do that]

[One day until he was kidnapped. It was kind of distracting to think of. Okay, not just distracting. Sokka hadn't done any work at the smithy all day. His time training didn't do much good because he hardly paid attention. If there had been school today, chances are he wouldn't have bothered.

So he's off in the plaza, staring at the fountain and thinking about how he'd be kind of okay if Razette was at home and gave him a meaningless empty hug to make him feel better. Too bad she's not.]

[Sneak... sneak... Okay not much sneaking but there is a maid-costume girl trying to come close to Sokka without him noticing. And then, once hidden by him she's going to try to do something like say... hug him. From behind.

He just looked like he needed one]

[What the!? Fortunately he doesn't flip out and throw her into the fountain. He just stands there awkwardly until he figures out who it is. Oh, he recognizes that blonde-but-sometimes-pink-depending-on-the-light hair.]

Ch-Charlotte!?

[Gotta love that shade! But now full in this hug she holds it a moment and then... release. Smiling, she skips a bit off]

Hello.

[Honestly, all this affair with the operation going on? It's on Adell's mind. He's honestly kind of pissed he can't go fight to help his friends. He's sure Sheena and Erza will be fine, but he's admittedly worried about Noel.

He decided instead of training his brains out to relax, maybe a walk would do it. So, here he is... passing by Charlotte. Actually, what pings him is the sign she's holding. So he double takes, and sees who's actually holding it. ...And she's... wearing a maid outfit.

He'd ask why. But he kind of...doesn't want to ask. No reason to call attention to it other than just looking... Instead, he'll approach her.]

So. What's the deal with the sign? You recruiting for them now, Charlotte?

Well I told Nan that I'd help her out... I know it's Karol's guild now, but I thought I should still do my part! [She says this with a little laugh even! She's doing her part!!]

[Charlotte of course is busy being an advertising doll but... oh! That looks like her new friend. Smiling, she bounds on over to the parasol in question to see if she can't talk with her-] Remilia?

[It's Nan! Charlotte turns to attention for her, even putting the sign into a kinda-sorta solute!]

Thank you! [And then she relaxes and sighs a little] I'm just sad I couldn't do it for Children of the Full Moon...

[f-fff.]

It doesn't matter. It's good that you're getting the word out for the real guild.
