[Adell comes back to the house after a training session, right at the end of Charle's baking, just as the cakes are finished.

He looks around when he comes into the house, but doesn't immediately head into the kitchen, instead settling for voicing his question openly.]

Huh... what smells good in here?

[hazelrink]

Oh, Adell! [And she peeks her head - his face covered in a sticky white-ish brown fluid - around the corner! She's beaming but-] I made cakes!

[Now that gets his attention, and he heads immediately for the kitchen. ....He wonders how she managed to get what looks like icing on her face, but he thinks better of asking.]

You did, huh? Cool!

[hazelrink]

[The kitchen, meanwhile, is a sea of batter, icing, sprinkles, fruits, ripped parts of her penguin costume, some burnt cakes, a lot of finished ones... well, you get the idea. She's beaming as she's frosting this newest cake]

[Remi is pulling herself up level with the counter to look. THIS IS AN EASY TASK OKAY]

Did you make a cake for myself and Flandre?

[hazelrink]

[Is it? That counter might well be sticky with... something. Wet sugar, probably. But Charlotte blinks, holding an egg-beater in hand. She turns and-] Um. I think I cut myself into a few of the batters... but I didn't make one with blood in for real yet.

Is your finger still cut?

[Well, there's a band-aide on it but... she holds it up. There's a fair few cuts on her she's bandaged up] I think so?

[Well this is a welcome distraction from his own woes. For a voice post, his Wonder Twin costume is thankfully not too obvious.]

I'm not sure I could handle a trick as messy as your treat.

[She giggles at that, before putting up a finger and nodding] That's why I promise to not make ti too hard.

Is that right? And what would your tricks entail exactly?

[Mom had been wandering in and out of the house and of course, past the kitchen today. Her first thought to seeing Charlotte's attempts had involved untimely demise if the kitchen was destroyed but she left her be for the most part.

...there was a moment of worry when she smelled smoke but that passed too.

By that time late in the afternoon Mom will poke her head in to see Charl has finished.]

[She seems to have, well, just finished taking something out of the oven. There's numerous finished cakes - iced; some looking better than others - on the counter but. Well, the whole kitchen is a mess. It also smells a little like smoke in here. Charlotte herself. has a few bandages on her fingers (she seems to have been repeatedly cutting the arms of her penguin costume open, and as such right now it's open)

And... she's covered in batter, burn marks, and it's in her hair a little too. But she's smiling, very proud of herself as she looks at the newest, not burnt and good smelling cake]

She'll come in and see many of these things, including the damage to the suit and Charlotte.]

At least there aren't scorch marks.

How much of your blood went into the batter?

[...Um. She sets down the cake, sucks on one of her injured fingers a moment before]

...Um. Maybe enough to taste it in one of them?
