i have five days to write my next appellate brief -- which means I should already have a first draft done by now, but I don't, of course. This is Spring Break -- I am trying to "catch up" on stuff and doing a mediocre job at it -- which, I must point out -- is better than a bad job or no job at all, just not as good as a great job or an excellent ( Read more... )

I think if you set the bar high, it isn't necessarily a bad thing. This hopefully prevents you from settling in the future. Keep your chin up, someone will come along in God's timing. Sorry it's cheesy but it's true. And I'm single too, mind you.

haha, thanks. even though it sounds kinda bad, I am so thankful i have single friends -- not because i want everyone to be single, but not being the only one is good. especially since people are getting engaged and married and pregnant every time i turn around!

Are you kidding?? It's not at all to be glad to have single friends. That's what makes me feel slightly better at times... because I'm not the only one! Yeah, don't let all the others get you down. There's just so much spectacularity in your future, you couldn't handle it yet. So God's waiting until you can. ;-)
