*laugh* Lazard, maybe? I'm fond of him myself, which is perhaps why I didn't want to use him.

Aurum comes from the Latin word for gold, in the same way Rufus comes from the Latin word for red, so it was a bit of crappy wordplay on my part that I couldn't resist. I won't deny that similarities might exist, though ... :D

Possibly... XD Well, if you're not including him because you're fond of him, I'm going to assume that this new, even brattier VP is going to meet a sticky end. *Vaguely hopes that Rufus has something to do with it...*

Isn't it odd though, that even though his name means red and his hair colour was originally kind of, well, orange, Rufus has gone such a pale blond in the compilation? Totally gets rid of that "character names have meaning" theory. :S

I haven't actually decided. Rufus keeps encouraging me to make him meet a sticky end, but Rufus is biased that way.

...Makes you wonder why Scarlet is named Scarlet, right? Aside from the fact that she wears red. Although I do prefer Rufus as a pale blond 8D

The stomach flu bit had me laughing. And the new VP is shiny >>. Though I think he's not making friends with the Turks. (I was totally thinking that he was Rufus a second and had to re-read. Damn preconceived notions)

Poor Tseng maybe I doubt he's off on unpaid vacation time.

It's been a while since I tossed a Rufus around. Although I have to admit that they went remarkably lightly on him. All things considered...

Had a lot of fun writing this. I guess I should thank you for enabling. And also, this fic is turning into a monster. It's over the 10,000 word mark already, gah.
