Definitely not the same as in the game, but there are some similarities. For one, he was actually born as Rufus Shinra, but he's definitely not Vice President of Shinra Corp now.

Sooooooo far it has no pairing (unless Veld is shagging Vincent. Possible? Possible. 8D)

OHMIGOD. I have so much LOVE for this series. Complete and utter ADORATION. I love this incredibly cool!sexy!addicted Rufus so much. And I'm completely enthralled by where you are going with this. Hoping to see more soon! :)

I kinda like that Tseng has no sympathy for Sierra on the addiction front. But there are always reasons people end up with the issues they have, and it's not necessarily of their own choosing.

I'm very curious about this Rufus, and what he wants from, well, any of the Turks, not just because it's Tseng.

Though I must admit, I like the ruthlessness, not to mention the small things, like the extensive use of silent communication the Turks have.

I love this so HARD. I love their communication, Rufus's sharpness, Tseng's ruthlessness. I am so, so glad you picked this idea up and ran with it because it's fascinating.
