That was LOVELY. I love Reeve's wry humour, Rufus' enigmatic behavior.... and the entire uplifting tone of the fic. I've missed reading your fics :)

eeee! I'm so sorry about taking so long. *smiles* I do have a few months before I start work, though, and I'm desperately trying to finish / update things in the meantime, because I'll definitely have to cut back when I go full time. Thanks for holding on.

Your writing, as always, is so perfect. I love the whole mood of this. It's strangely light, and melancholy at the same time.

I love the way you write the two of them, and your Reeve is especially lovely in this.

My Rufus is blushing and shuffling his feet and saying 'Naw, I'm still evil. Just less obviously evil'. :D

Yep, that was what bunnied me in the first place - hey, you have the Edge under attack and Reeve's not there, whatever passes as the WRO's peace keeping force is not there, and Shinra more or less takes responsibility for the entire turn of events. Granted, they might have started it by going to the Crater, but we don't see the WRO chipping in when the kids went missing.

;_; Wow, that's really one of the highest compliments that I could possibly get. I'm glad you enjoyed it; I enjoyed writing it too.
