Right, so I apologize if I've said this all before but...

I love your Elena, and this chapter has cemented it. Because, seriously, a big beef that I have with FF7 writers is that they treat her absolutely horribly or they don't give her enough credit. And it's all to do with her initial appearance, which I admit, didn't give a really good first impression. So a lot of people writer her as this ditzy blonde who's only in it for Tseng and who's just a rookie and who fumbles everything and who just doesn't. Shut. Up. Which isn't fair because even if SQUARE THEMSELVES treat her as just a plot device (which she is, technically), if a person is going to write her, they have to at LEAST consider HOW she made it into the Turks in the FIRST PLACE, and Reno getting injured doesn't count, because Tseng would've found somebody MORE capable than Elena. Unless there were qualities in Elena that would be useful to the Turks. Which there obviously are. So if people are going to write Elena they should darn well have the respect to ( ... )

Okay, first off, yay for updating this fic because it is indescribably awesome in ways that I can describe only when I'm either a) drunk or b) eloquent.

Reading this basically in one-shot save for the first chapter, I'll admit, it seems fast. But in a way, that whirling of action just starting is so like a mission, so it's all Turk'd. Yes, Turk'd, it's my verb. Henceforth it's cool ( ... )
