This was ending on a high note? Oh my. Extremely well-written, although I sensed the trap and wanted to throttle Reno myself, emotions certainly play havoc with logic and training when one's emotions come into play. Hanging by a thread here waiting for the next segment.

XD Oh, but that was exciting. God I hate the President. That was one nice little twist there.

I really like the fast pace. This thing is just moving, thanks to the style, and it's highly engaging. Can't wait for the next bit, because damn, that sucks for Reno!

Oh, and I must proclaim my love of Reno looking back over his shoulder at Rufus, wishing for him to do something. It's a complete role reversal there(who's saving who?), and is just...awesome. Reno's faith in Rufus is so powerful ^_^
