I am not fond of second person narrative, but I think you pulled this off anyway. This is a moving character study... painful to read at times, but an unflinching portrait of a relationship falling apart despite the love that both seem to feel for each other. Part of me does wonder if you would be able to maintain the ambiguity of the narrator's identity in first or third person? Because that's truly what makes this work, I think...so I wouldn't want to lose it. And lines like "You feel his eyes on you. Wonder what he sees. Wonder if it's enough."--that was perfect. In a short piece like this...perfect ending.
