On maintaining your attitude in bad times

But then, when I search my heart instead of my head, I don't really feel afraid.

For some reason, I don't either. There are things that I'm concerned about, but I just keep feeling that there are highs and lows, and this is just a low.

I've not been able to get all riled up about this financial thing either. A part of me is like, "Well, that's what you get for lending money to people you ought not have." Another is, "I'm a librarian for a reason. We're so crappily paid it's not worth it to lay us off." ;-p

I had always wondered what TQO stood for.

Personally, I would be positively euphoric if the market crashes. Also, I wish they would enforce naked short selling in the commodities sector. It really does show. At this time, do you have any thoughts of putting a percentage into physical precious metals (if you can find them, that is)?

Wishing you my best;

We have a small amount of gold in the safety deposit box. Enough to pay the gas to get to Vegas after we go bust. The husband and I are planning a strategy session for Sunday. What are the risks overall, what is probable, how should we invest, how can we invest more, etc.
