I think that well meaning local folks are trying to give me help but it isn't really helping. I do think folks somewhere local have had a conversation about me and are repeating what they heard, but I no longer think it is a conspiracy to put me down. I believe BdeB when he says he was not part of any such conversation, but the pattern elsewhere

If it helps you to know - I've seen you teaching and competing and I'm not local to you, albeit a distant neighbor. I like it when you post progress reports and pictures of your work on your blog, though a web page would centralize it. You knew that already. I've seen some of your written documentation and thought it was well done, but would be more likely to curl up with it and a cup of tea if it were online where I could get to it without rushing through it at an event. Frankly, I enjoy seeing the direction you take your skills since I have a little background in textiles technology and I find it interesting.

I agree with Isenglass that a webpage would be really helpful. I love your teaching, and when someone asks about period dyes, you are one of the people I point them to. A webpage where you can upload your documentation and your class handouts would be really awesome :-D

Oh i'm not saying that someone didn't take a private conversation I had with them...months, years, who knows!....ago and gossip that to another person. But still, really. How silly. Still awaiting your call.
