I love the snow, it's so pretty and special because proper snow is really rare now days. However because of how rare it is, no one seems to function properly when it snows...It's quite funny when you think about it

It is stupid how everyone acts when it snows...it isn't that bad, not compared to Scottish and Yorkshire winters, at least! Although it is nice to be curled up in the warm, but it's a bloody pain in the bum waking up early and not being able to get back to sleep.
i know exactly what you mean. Everything in the south east has ground to a halt because of the snow but i scotland they would just go on with their day like normal.
I know what you mean about waking up too. I woke up and 6 today and didn't find out about their being no school until 7, after i had eaten my breakfast and was about to leave the house. So i have been wondering around the house for the past 4 hours...and making snowmen :P. The break is nice though
The snow is ankle deep here, isn't it! Have you been out in it yet? My garden is undisturbed and we don't want to walk in it, but I'm itching to go out there!
My school never did snow days either, but I think today is an exception - no buses, no trams! Parts of the motorway are closed... It's ridiculous, but great. My Mother (who is Scottish and hates snow...) says that it's a bit pathetic how everyone and everything completely shuts down, because where she used to live there was only one bus and it still managed to get everyone where they needed to be, even in the snow!

In short, snow is fun when you can enjoy it and aren't stuck in school or driving!
it's deeper than that outside for me, about half calf deep.Yeah i've been out, i made a huge snowman ^_^.
I know exactly what you mean! Whenever i see untouched snow i just have to tread in it no matter how nice it looks. If i were you i would have dived into your garden by now.
I guess i know what you mean, but it is still kinda surpirsing and yeah the closing of the motorway and what not is very funny. It is very stupid how over the top London can be, especially when you think about how people in places like scotland seem unfazed by snow.
But yeah it is very pretty and great fun....and very cold :P
