It's been about three weeks since my granny passed on. I know, you're probably thinking, "Sorry to hear that. But I don't know you or your granny - so hell, I don't think I really care

Hello Sen. I know about what you are feeling. I went through the same when my grandfather died. I didn't know what I felt on anything for months actually.
It's sad that most people don't see what a plight the dead are in, especially the people that are supposed to be able to see it.
Sadly, that's the way the world works.
My sympathies and condolensences. I didn't know your grandmother, but the way you talk about her she had to have been a really awesome lady.
Thank you, Rain. Sometimes just putting it out there makes things seem farther and less likely to hurt, but also easier to grab when there's a need to do so.
And I hope I wasn't too open, since death and spirits are touchy subjects.
The pain goes away, right? For some reason, it's been a few weeks and there's still this eat-away feeling. This is the first time, so I'm still trying to get used to it.
The pain lessens over time, and there will be times that you think it really is gone. When a loved one leaves a part of you goes with them though. This probably isn't the most comforting thing I've ever said, but it's the truth.
When you need to talk, I am ready to listen and do what I can. That is what I do. I care.
Death and spirits is a touchy subject, but it shouldn't be. Everything exists on a continuum. Some people just are more open to a wider range than others.
It's kind of hard to think that it'll lessen since everything's still really fresh. But I understand what you mean, and usually, the truth helps the most.
:D You sound like my mum when you say that. She's not exactly the easiest to talk with, but she's got a big heart. ^_^ It's nice to hear that you're one of those people with big hearts.
I guess everything's on the same plane then, sort of like what you said. Seeing spirits is just like seeing regular people to me. But then again, I always thought people had a built in filter for these things because they don't usually see anything. It could be more complicated than that. I've been wanting to ask friends and family about it, but if I do, my asking them makes them feel awkward, you know? Most of them have no clue what I'm talking about anyhow!
Do you believe that strange things aren't just tricks? Beliefs are very personal, so I don't want to make you uncomfortable.
