So yeah, I'm officially applied to grad school, and as good as officially a TA in the fall. Yay for combined undergrad/grad programs ^_^ Now it's just hope for that awesome fellowship. If I get the fellowship I don't have to worry about paying for school, which is pretty much awesome. Also, the TA-ing comes with health... which I won't need ( Read more... )

So yeah, filling out the grad school app. I'm really glad I'm in the combined BS/MS thing and that I already have a prof to work with, otherwise this would be quite stressful. It's still an annoying form, but at least it's JUST an annoying form. I would have to really screw up to not be accepted at this point, and I plan on not screwing up. LOL ( Read more... )

Yes, I saw The Golden Compass over the weekend. It was pretty good, go see it. Then go read the book. The movie, being a movie, glazes over narrative parts to get to action parts. So go see the movie, enjoy the action and the fantasy feel. Then read the book and enjoy the plot and the excellent writing ( Read more... )
