Wow, thank you so much for voting Heavy Lies the Crown as a Featured Story this month! I'm flattered! And I hope to answer these questions satisfactorily, but I'll have to hurry because I never know when the baby is going to need me or when I'll be able to sit down at the computer again! :)

Let the Q&A begin... )

I have a question! (:

What do you find are the biggest difficulties in writing Hermione and Draco IN a relationship for a good half of the story? After all, it's usually more exciting watching the process of them getting together.

And I must say you did a really great job of it (:

Hello! Thanks for the question! I think most people prefer to read a story about them getting together, and after that, a story where they get together but have a hard time of things in their relationship. Lots of ups and downs. I noticed a huge drop-off in readership in the chapters after they finally admit their feelings in "Heavy."

The biggest difficulties, to me, in writing them together are just keeping it interesting. Because of who they are, there is a lot fighting against them getting together. Once they are, there's no more drama. Well, that's not true, because you can always have their friends and family resist, and then there's the interest of seeing if they'll stick it out despite all of that.

But writing a story where they are together, happy, and everyone is okay with it (for the most part) ... it's harder to make it interesting, keep it fresh. Hope that answers your question!

Yup it does, thanks! :D It's probably quite challenging to keep it fresh all the time, but that probably showcases the author's creativity ;) Can't wait to see how the rest of your story turns out like!
