I had several moments of incoherent spazzing when
phlox emailed me and told me I'd been nominated to be the featured author for the month of November! Truthfully, I'm still giddy and it hasn't properly sunk in, but standing around with my jaw dragging the floor is unattractive, so I'll stop that now and say a tremendous thank you to everyone that voted

Anyway, I've ranted about cannibals for long enough. Fascinating to hear your helter-skelter process! And I get the same way when my boyfriend interrupts me mid-fic. He's been bitten (proverbially, though it's been physically tempting...) more than a few times.
Congrats on the feature!

regarding your three aims in writing: you've nailed it, consistently! always look forward to reading your fics, and they are all so re-readable! the one i go back to again and again is, of course, Amistleamour. cracks me up!
haha, spuffy! i never got into the FF side of things, mostly because i didn't get into buffy until very late. and yes, snarky blond and fiesty heroine? no similarities at all. :P
and as dumbledore says, "Ah, music! A magic beyond all we do here!" would you be willing to share your soundtracks for your fics? i'm very curious!
and i'm just waiting for your new fic on H&V to be "complete" so i can inhale it in one go! :D totally grok the "do not disturb when i'm reading"!
looking forward to more stories! *hint*

LMAO - Amistlemour! That story and A Certain Step are the ones people seem to like the most. I think we all need a little Twiggy in our lives, just to spice things up, wouldn't you say? hehehe And I'm glad you thought I was able to achieve my objectives; as an author, I'm not really cognizant of how readers perceive my work. I write what I want, not necessarily what I think others want to read. The only exception to that is if I'm writing for someone specific, like in an exchange fest. If my recipient likes it, that's what I'm after. If others happen to like it along the way, that's great, but I'm not worried if no one else likes it ( ... )

As for music, it depends on the tone of the piece. With A Certain Step it HAD to have a sound track, so I listened to that while writing it. The other stories just had general music I have in my collection that matched the mood of the piece. Sad story? Depression, angst-ridden music (soundtrack to City of Angels & Pride And Prejudice). Comedy? Maybe Owl City or Simon & Garfunkle. LOL
I'm glad you liked The Endless In Between! Researching the eras was like absolute crack. ;) Thank you so much! *hugs*
