I'm greatly honored to be featured again, especially for my pet story, Friend Number Three, and also especially for my pet side character, Pansy Parkinson. As everyone who's read my overemotional endnotes will know, it was the first story I wrote and also the most personal so far. All my stories are personal, but this one stands out in my mind.

I was kind of curious as to what became of Pansy though. I kind of loved her, all full of needles as she was. Did you ever think about what her epilogue might be?

I love to ship her with Ron (I even wrote a one-shot about just them for the Interhouse Fest last year), and I would have imagined that they ran into each other that day when they were both feeling awkward and somewhat out-of-place. Maybe they ended up commiserating about Draco and Hermione, since this would be the first time either of them actually had to see the couple together in person. I don't know that they would end up together ultimately, considering Pansy's life goals and priorities in this story, but that was what I always envisioned. Some reviewers caught on as well, so I must have successfully implied it. :)
