Hello, everyone!  Long time no see!   I’m Marm (Marmalade Fever), author of Bus Stop, one of the featured submissions for February here on H&V.  I haven’t written or, frankly, participated in D/Hr much since 2009, but I still have a special place in my heart for our favorite couple.

A little about Bus Stop:

I love that song. It is my era of music or perhaps a bit before my era but definitely my childhood. Being born in 1964, I can remember that song on the radio while I stood on the seat beside my Aunt Nancy, my arm around her neck and both of us singing like crazy. LOL. I have been sad lately and so reading your story and listening to that song has been cathartic in a way. I think I may be in mourning for fanfic. It seems like the best of the times with fanfic have come and gone and now I am just clinging to the dead and withered hand of a dear friend. Your stories were some of my favorites from the start and I am so glad to have read this one again.

Oh, I just re read that up there and would love for you to ignore my rambling, self pitying words. I am very tired and need sleep. Sorry for that. Wonderful story and wonderful song. xoxoKel

Hi! Yay, my first commenter! I was afraid the egghunt had distracted everyone. ;)

What you wrote--which I'm supposed to ignore, oops--was very sweet. Since I've been offline, I don't think I have a right to say too much on the subject. However, I do know that Dramione is not dead yet. It has a pulse, even if it's not as strong as it was five to ten years ago. I also know that however long you read, there are always more undiscovered works out there.

Hey, Marm, I LOVE "Bus Stop"! It's one of my long-time faves. It was one of the first fluffy Dramiones I discovered. :) So witty and funny, sweet, with such clever dialogue. I adore it.

I want you to know that when I first read this story, (and on all the other times I've read it :)), the Hollies' version of "Bus Stop" ran through my head! I am NOT kidding - and to learn here, now, that you based the story on that song - well, I squee'd. SO much fuzzy love, here. :-D Mental sparks and connections. I love that.

Well done, my dear. Thank you for creating this story. It's a true gem!

Bus Stop has always been one of my favorite stories. I love the premise, I love the dialogue, I love Draco's job and especially the butler. LOL. I find it to be one of my pick-me-ups - quick, light, entertaining. It leaves me happier after reading it. Thanks for writing it. :)

I looooove Bus Stop! It's one of my favorites and I always recommend it to people looking for something to read. It's a light hearted read and it's a wonderful pick me up especially after reading something so full of angst or violence. I always have a crazy smile on my face whenever I read it. My fave line has to be:

"Good grief, Granger. What are you going to do when I propose for real? Die?"

Oh, that line has me in stitches, I swear!

I know everyone has probably said this and this may not be the right avenue but please write more. I continue to be inspired by works such as yours.

xoxo
