she seemed determined not to leave him, or let him leave, taking care of him because of the good man she had known before.

That's beautiful.

I was thinking it horrific (with possibly a side order of tremendously sad). Welcome to TheDifferenceBetweenBanandCraigVille. ;P

See, I always had you down as the king of finding beauty in pain. It's not at all bad if you're not, just a break from stereotype :)

I just see beauty in someone who hollows themselves out completely for the sake of a loved one. So many people just listen to the doctors, take the easy way out and get on with their own lives.

There's beauty in certain kinds of sadness. There's no beauty in this kind of pain - this kind of pain is just shit. I appreciate that she thinks sacrificing herself for someone she loves (though when we do this we do so usually on the assumption that the person we love would do the same for us, which is not the case here) ... but the someone she loves doesn't even exist anymore.

It's just ... a bit poo.

WOW. Cool show.

The woman being debated above? Man, I dunno what I'd do. Surely there's some form of therapy they could do? Or antidepressant type things? Just thinking out loud.

The guy was getting cognitive therapy to help control the darker impulses. I think that was it.
