My NaNo novel, which had been clipping along at a pretty decent pace has come to a screeching halt. This is far more depressing than it should be.

It doesn't help that m'lady has 10,000+ words. Curse her and her faster typing speed.

grr, nanowrimo, writing

Yea, she kinda sucks like that. But I love her any way.

I forced myself to make the daily minimum yesterday, and I'd gotten ahead on the first, so to be fair, I'm still doing pretty good. I just wish my protaganist was more... interesting.

Well, when you're at the 30000 mark and stuck, make your protagonist turn out to have been the opposite gender all along and write the rest of your book about how screwed up unreliable narrators are. Then it'll be interesting and you might have just invented a new genre.

... so I hear I'm really practical.

Haha. Anyway, good luck. ♥

LOL. It's not the craziest suggestion I've ever heard.

Aw, I'm sorry to hear this. I hate it when inspiration fails and trust me, I know the feeling better than most.

Fortunatly, the inspiration (or is it desperation?) is slowly seeping back.
