Still thinking about a title and such. Complete!

Basically, the Doctor, after. Many thanks to a_phoenixdragon for thinky thoughts that helped me wrap it up.

Thank you!

And srsly, you helped! I was stuck on the third to last paragraph and didn't know how to bring it to a conclusion and keep it line with what I was trying to convey. But there is poor Eleventy, trying so hard and all the running is really just in place...

Well, you rounded it off beautifully. Just ties the whole fic together in one neat, dark thinky little package!

Right? *Pets him* Poor darling...

Well, I'm having a heck of a time this season hearing/catching/comprehending so many bits of the dialogue that it's driving me crazy. But there was that one point last night when Eleven said "Two millennia old" (right?) and I was just...whoa.

Likewise with Amy and Rory aging out of synch which is giving me foreshadowing fits for the final parting...

Oh, ouch. Nice way to tie the pieces of the season together, and to highlight the sense of distance the Doctor must be feeling. Somehow, the thought of Rory keeping away to drink his tea, even for a reason as innocuous as protecting the console from crumbs, seems a little heartbreaking with the Ponds' departure so close.

Thank you. The episode left me with the sense that Eleven is dealing with so many things, some that he can cope with and some that he thinks he's coping with...and more than in the two previous seasons he's got to face up to so much of his past. (Which is what Moffatt & Co. are leading us up to.)

The bit with Rory just popped into my head and I just went all *wibble* over the chastised look (such brilliant background acting in the whole episode--go Arthur!) from Rory when the Doctor complained.

I won't be able to see the next two eps in a timely (!) way due to social commitments, and it's already making me crazy!
