I didn't think I would ever feel sympathy for Sobel, but wow.

This was beautiful and very well done. And I love Nix and Winters at the end (because they were my favorite characters in the whole series and because Winters POV is such a nice touch in regards to Sobel and the war in general).

I'm so happy to see someone write from this fandom, and to do it so perfectly.
