I prefer the busy days where you're working away and the day is over before you know it! Much better than the slow, miserable dragging days.

Cool pics! I love the farm and sky. I would like to retire out to a farm one day (I just don't want to have to work it, LOL!).

Dad is mostly retired these days. He rents the land out for crops.

That must have been a great place to grow-up! It is beautiful. Does your Dad still do the farming? though I guess he has help...a lot of work.

I had relatives in Ireland who farmed though in the latter years it was mostly beef, but I loved going there to visit. Then I was part of a community which also had a farm, that's when I realized how much work it was...I did make very good butter:)

Dad is mostly retired now. We raised beef cattle while I was growing up. That and replacement heifers, turkeys, and chickens. :)

Lovely pics!

With regard to the flower, it looks like a variegated ox-eye daisy (heliopsis if it helps). I used to have some until hubby discovered the lawnmower....

The (very up close while loading) picture of the plant looks just like a squash or watermelon plant. The rest are gorgeous and I LOVE the picture of your parents!
