Look, a meme! Y'know, once upon a time I actually had plans for updating this thing with in character stuff. Or at least writing... you know, about the character. But whatever! Time makes fools of us all, it does. So does a distinct lack of time, which is something I've been suffering from lately

How did you and Katar meet?

That's actually a... complicated... story.

We met when I was a child. He was a bit older, an ensign. This was before I was adopted, when I still lived in the Downside.

He and a group of Wingmen stormed the building I was living in and killed my guardian. And then I was sent to an orphanage and I didn't see him again for a long time. Until I was a Wingman myself and our situations were somewhat reversed.

And did you ever meet Charlie?

Charlie? Oh, Golden Eagle. No, I didn't. I believe he died before I arrived on Earth.

The beer is better on Thanagar. That's about it. I'd say things are more straightforward there, too, but of course they're not, not really.

Do what he says, but don't let him get away with not telling you why he wants you to do it in the first place. He knows what he's doing, but he's used to being in charge and he tends to think he knows what's best for everyone.

And don't touch his mace.

All things considered, I think we're doing well.

I mean, what's normal when someone's been in hell for five years? There's been a lot to deal with, but mostly it's just a relief to have the whole ordeal over with for now.
