I'm really liking it so far. The characters are interesting, lots of the actors are Canadians who have been recurring or guest actors for years in other shows I've enjoyed, and it's science fiction, pirates, and all kinds of moral quandaries. I just worry that it won't stay that way, thanks to M&M, you know?
Hm. That religious journey got tangled into a lot of family stuff I don't really want to get into. :( But I can make a new filter and a locked post about prompts and FK stories!
My husband talked me into watching Dark Matter, which so far seems like a Firefly ripoff, but worth watching. I have to admit that Killjoys did not appeal to me at all from the ads -- he's watching that too -- so tell me what's made you in love with it?
Have you ever read any of the Shadowrun novels? I don't think you play roleplaying games, so I won't ask if you've played the game. The show is very Shadowrun in its subject matter
( ... )
Leverage is so amazingly plotted, Havoc. I could spend days squealing about it and flapping my hands and gushing about John Rogers and his writers. It's terribly embarrassing.
OK, I've now watched it a few times with M. I've not fallen in love as you did, but it's definitely something I'd watch with him, anyway.
Oh! My 13 year old goddaughter is a Leverage fan, I just discovered -- she's been catching up on Netflix. I remember you were very into it. I lost track before the final season or two, so she filled me in on where everyone ends up, and she is adorably shippy about Parker/Hardison.

I didn't notice Amanda Tapping directing! I need to pay more attention to the director in the credits.

I'd also love to hear, under lock, about what you're thinking re: prompts and FK stories.
