Looking for odd colors of lip makeup.

I need blue and/or purple lip gloss or lipstick because I have to give my future necromancer that slightly dead look. If I go with the life mage, I'll find some green lipstick instead

The best time to find that stuff cheap is Halloween, though it might not be the quality you want. You could try Party City.

True! Though I did get a good, reasonably priced source a couple comments down, so I think asking online was the way to go.

I know. It's still early August, but some craft stores & seasonal shops will already have their Halloween makeup displays set up.

have you tried drugstore.com? They might have some of the cheaper lipstick lines that have those colors, if you don't mind super-cheap, not high quality stuff.

Also, I know Sephora used to have a dark purple/black lipstick in their own line that was a little bit cheaper than the other brands they carry?

Oooh, and there's a Sephora store nearby. The nearby store doesn't carry the blue lip tar that I was looking at, but they'll have all their store brand - and you're right, it's cheaper, but just as good.

They have about 4-5 lipsticks and 2-3 lipglosses in varying shades of blue and purple, all with hilarious geek-related names. I've ordered from them once and had great communication and the product quality, at least in eye-shadows, was good.
