Woops, forgot to add this to my catch up post...

Not that anybody cares all that much... But one of the things that was awesome when I went home was going to the movies.

Mostly because it meant that dad couldn't lecture me in the middle of it. Like how he ranted at length about how awful it is that nature shows dare to air animals breeding. Clearly they're perverts, and the only people that will ( Read more... )

Sherlock Holmes 2: Gay gay GAAAAAAY
I think you & I have already discussed Irene. I agree it was a weaker & slightly rushed & it definitely abused the slow-motion action with the forest scene. and that I kept comparing Jared Harris!Moriarty to Andrew Scott!Moriarty is probably my own fault but... I think anyone after Scott was bound to be a little flat after the manic energetic performance in TGG. Oops.

Let me just love you lots more for joining me in the adoration of Renner. I mean, how do you deny this man? (okay, so I just wanted to use this gif)

I guess Sherlock has to wait until the DVD comes out... my eyes are not ready for a whole movie yet,and I guess next week it's maybe not on anymore here. *grumbles*

I didn't even like MI:1 *hides* and seriously, Mr. Cruise is one of the rare occasions where my dislike for an actor makes me avoid his movies. I have exactly three Cruise movies that I watch - that's "Legend", "Rain Man" and "Interview with the vampire". So sorry, but no.:-)

Ohh, before I forget - before the Avengers movie comes out, what do I have to see? Thor and Captain America and Iron Man obviously, what else? And Hulk version?

The tie in movies are Iron Man 1&2, Incredible Hulk (the version with Ed Norton), Thor and Captain America. If you can find the Coulson short movies ("The Consultant" and "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Thor's Hammer") those are good too. The first one ties down part of where Iron Man, Thor, and Hulk movie time lines cross, but the second one isn't quite as important (except that it shows how AWESOME Coulson is).

I can understand the reaction to Cruise, it's alright. :)

Thankee! :-) Then I have to track down the Ed Norton version. *nods* And look for the shorts.

Hm, I'm determined not to spend any money on Cruise movies, but maybe when I watched Thor, I might try and track it down for Pegg and Renner... *g*
