[There it was, the battle euphoria he was missing. He laughed along with Schuldig's announcement, firming up his stance and bracing himself for Ken's attack. He lowered his arms, exposing his head for a beating. But Farfarello was just the Berserker, right? Surely he wouldn't have a strategy...or he certainly hoped Ken would take the opening that was being given to him on a silver platter. ...Because as soon as he got close enough again, Farfarello intended to put that knife in his gut.]

[Insanity. There was certainly that right now, but Schuldig's mental broadcast certainly put a stop to it with surprise. He paused, and stumbled over his own momentum.

Insane? What the fuck was Schuldig talking about...Of course, this took him right on to Farfarello's knife and he cried out in pain as it impaled him]

I said shut up! [Twisting, he manages to keep it from stabbing him feels it bite into his side. Slashing at Schuldig again, he runs over to Ken to help him.]

[Schuldig curses as Aya's blade bites a bit more deeply this time, recoiling with a hand over the wound.] Balinese broken, Siberian insane, Bombay turned Takatori...soon it'll be just you, and there's nothing you can do to stop it. [He barks a sharp, pained laugh.] I can't wait to watch.

Let's go, Farfarello; I think we'd better cut our losses while we can.

[Farfarello was going to punch upwards and otherwise move the knife about, destroy the man from the inside out and summarily kill him. Realistically with a knife to the gut it was likely he would die anyway, but he wanted to be -certain- of that. But Schuldig's command stops him short and he pulls back, abandoning the knife in Ken's abdomen and retreating towards the back door.]

[Ken sunk to the floor with a loud groan. God damn it, he couldn't believe that he'd let Farfarello stick him. Shit, a gut shot...if Miakis didn't get home soon he was going to be a goner for a night.

Even though he'd died here before, it was still a frightening thought. He didn't want to die. Not like this.]

[Seeing that Schwarz is retreating, Aya heads for Ken to start seeing to his wound. Yes, they're going to need to talk about what Schuldig said but keeping Ken alive is the priority.]

[Schuldig is in pain, but he's clearly still intent on spreading the suffering around. His next thought is telepathic, and to Ken alone.] Better ask him what he's keeping from you, Siberian...soon you're the only one who won't know.

[Then he slips out the back, bleeding but largely triumphant.]
