[He looks straight ahead again and furrows his brow in thought. He needed to come up with a plan to get that sort of information out of Grady but that would have to work out on its own than forcing it.
He gave a soft chuckle and lowered his head slightly.]
And I was beginning to suspect that I had nearly shot my bullet. We have only one chance. What do you propose we do to gain this information?
[He slowed down his steps to a more leisurely pace that looks akin to a stroll.]
How about this; we try first in talking to him as if we were having a casual conversation. From there, we can pick up subtle clues and nuances about his intentions and his likes. Perhaps we can bring it up lightly and move from there.
[There was a glimmer of hope in his eyes. If he could prevent bloodshed, he would do it and work hard to keep others from being hurt in the process.]
That is good news if he is just as desperate as we are. Now this is starting to make sense. If it is true that he is wanting to return to his home, then it will only stand the reason to his profit and our benefit as well that we work together toward our goal in returning home.
I am currently working on a chloroform derivative that should render Grady useless for a short amount of time should matters take a turn for the worse. It is getting close enough to use it that will be the trick.
That's cool. I'm just glad that you're back.passes_outJuly 6 2010, 04:48:48 UTC
[He looks to Eliza and nods.]
Perhaps. If he is any man that has any vices of the flesh that most men possess, then he can be brought down by the simple means of offering companionship. If he does not, then he has denounced his humanity and has put himself in a higher position than any man can reach.
I hope that the former is the case. At least then he has a weakness that we can use.
I hope things get better for you.passes_outJuly 6 2010, 05:21:39 UTC
[His upper lip twitches from the idea that she may be used in such a way but at the very least, he can drug or at least subdue Grady if he can get his guard down, or so he hoped.]

[He thought on this for a moment and nearly stopped in his tracks.]
What could we possibly offer that he would want?

[She frowned, it was a petulant frown as she was mad at herself for being so helpless to the situation. What could he want that they could give him?]

We could try. He spoke about also being trapped here once. I wonder that he does not wish to return home.

[She thought about this carefully. A way to get neat the man without too much trouble. That would be tricky.]
I wonder that he doesn't have a vice ... besides torturing us.

I hope your thoughts are true. It would be easier to seduce him the incapacitate him.
