Continued from HereShe likes Cheerleaders? I cannot help but blink at that as I try not to stare. I-I never knew Buffy was into girls. I would’ve never guesses. Oh my, there had been some rumors about Willow, but I never knew Buffy… Not-not that this is a bad thing. Though, if It’s not a bad thing then why do I feel so bad? But she likes men too ( Read more... )

Oh good, at least she’s not going to fight me on that. She needs rest, Slayer or not, she nearly died yesterday. At as if on cue, I can once again see the images of what could have been flashing before my eyes. That’ll never go way will it? Sighing, I rub my temples and try to will away the still lingering headache. Maybe they’re right, maybe I should just go to bed.

Leaning my head back against the sofa, I close my eyes and listen as Gunn flips through the channels for a bit until Buffy speaks again. “What gave you the idea I’ve something against cheerleaders?” I murmur, not really wanting to open my eyes. “I merrily pointed out that the only reason Gunn here likes to watch your football so that he can ogle at the scantly clad girls. He’s not at all interested in their athletic abilities”

“Hey!” Gunn pokes me in the ribs. As I turn at him with a raised eyebrow, I sits up straight. “I am *so* interested in their athletic abilities. Them girls gotta be mighty flexible“ Waggling his eyebrows he winks at me before quickly turning back ( ... )

I blinked at her story. Or not so much as a story as speech with a lot of blah in it. Did most people speak like that? I’d not noticed, though I had to admit Cordy had a hand of doing so. Maybe it was a Sunnydale thing? I never knew she was a cheerleader though. Makes sense, now that I think about it. Still, I think she enjoyed ice skating more. Her eyes light up when she talks about that ( ... )

Taking a nice, hot shower was just what I needed it appeared. I let myself lean against the wall using my forearms, letting the hot water beat down my back. The cabin quickly filled up with steam while I let my thougths drain empty. Of course this is my brain we’re talking about so it never really stops. Quite a curse that, I really wish sometimes I had an off switch. As it was, I now saw the various visions I had playing through my mind ( ... )

Gunn was done fairly quick. I could hear his razor flicking on and off. Then a warning that he was going to turn on the taps. I barely had time to get out from under the spray before he turned it on. Scowling through the shower curtain at him made me feel rather silly, considering he couldn’t even see it. Then he announced he was done, I heard the door and stepped back under the spray ( ... )

Wow, so I was really going to cook for them. And Wes wasn't allowed in the kitchen? I grinned at that, but didn't say anything. Putting more things on the conveyor belt, I sighed as he told me he hadn't had a home cooked meal in quite a while. Well, I didn't know how much of a home cooked meal this was going to be, but hey, I'll try to do good. "Well, I'll try my best ( ... )

“I’m sure it’ll be wonderful,” I told Buffy as she said she’d do her best. Gunn nodded and grinned from ear to ear, obviously looking forward to this already. He must’ve learned that from the time he was with Fred. Eating copious amounts food without bursting and then still wanting more. I just watched them with fond amusement as they grabbed the bags of groceries, without a minimum of bickering and we made our way to the car ( ... )

I really just wanted to grab that fellow and give him a good trashing myself. But then I’d be no better off then he is and I’d not stoop to such a level. I noticed Buffy was glowering at him rather angrily, perhaps even more angry then Gunn and I would ever be capable of doing. And yet, the chap still had the nerve to talk back to her. Bastard ( ... )
