I don't know which bit got me more, Bruno, the way Lisa's being de-humanised, the way Ianto's breaking to pieces and holding together through shock and grief. The whole thing is raw and I love it.

Aw thanks. "Raw" is a great compliment.

Jack's a bastard because he has to be and you caught that beautifully, even with Ianto's ugly-crying and oh Torchwood One offers couple's councelling!

I love bastard Jack soooo much. Although I thought I was being nicer than many authors by at least having him help Ianto with the cleanup... although to be fair I'm pretty sure part of his motivation is making sure Ianto Learns His Lesson.

This was awesome.

My heart ached for little Bruno, but I really loved the idea that Ianto and Lisa were maybe drifting apart prior to Canary Wharf, and that Ianto and Rhi still had a connection prior to Lisa's cyber-conversion. Lovely.

This story just ripped my heart to pieces! This is real!Jack in action. He can't afford to be compassionate or forgiving because the consequences of the cyberwoman getting loose are unthinkable.

I love Jack in S1 so much. He obviously cares, but at the same time he's so burnt and so bitter and so disconnected, and he's not very good at being a leader, and and and.

Thank you!<3

That (up there^^) is the kind of imagery that just sort of...sticks.

I absolutely adored the image of Jack and Ianto swinging the body into the incinerator, and not making it the first time. Very harsh, and totally brilliant. &hearts
