OMG, I wish I had artistic skills because I can totally see this pulp cover. Also, you should call up someone who makes comics and say MAKE MY STORY INTO A COMIC and then they will because that is how things work.

BONUS MASTER ICON (credits are on my profile, so take any you like)

Your Time Agents are deliciously warped! I really love they way they each have their own scense of ethics, even it it is more than slightly screwy. The double initals are perfect, and I'm wondering if all Agents are just asigned a letter to pick names from. Really enjoying this mini-series!

And, after giggling my ass off at the comments on this, I want to do a pulp cover for the GUNS!WIMMEN!TIEMTRAVEL!OMG!! of it all...

3/7 so far! Including ole' Jack and John, of course. Couldn't leave them out. =P I had so much fun coming up with unique personalities and making sure they were the right balance of crazy/violent but also I wanted a couple of them to have a little bit of good in them, too. That's a neat idea about the initials, though. I hadn't thought of that, although it would explain one reason why Jack's other alias that we know of is also a J.H. name.

::bribes you with her hilariously homemade TARDIS cookies:: If you did that . . . I don't even know! fdklfjdkls. It would be amazing! I have been going back and peeping your art over the last couple of days. SO YEAH I KNOW YOU ARE WICKED TALENTED BUDDY. Expect a bunch of weird comments on stuff you posted weeks ago lol lol lol. Belated comments are my favourite. (The other day I left a comment on a fic posted in 2008. Because y'know, that's timely.) I love pulp-style stuff, though, I really really do. Did you see the pulp "Cyberwoman" cover that got recced on torchwood_house the other day? It was fabulous!

How could we miss out on two of our favourite boys? They would probably hijack the fic if they were XD It would, wouldn't it - easy way to figure out the year you graduate:)

Oohooh, homemade TARDIS cookies! Weird comments make my heart all warm and gooey! Yay! And, thank you so much, that I'm chuffed you like it :D Eh, timely is overrated ;P I think it's gonna eat my brain until I get time later in the week... (wacom has been hidden until study is finished *sniffles*)

I hadn't seen that, it's brilliant! And, while I'm at it ♥ Icon love! ♥

You are just a brilliant idea person, you know? I should keep you. I'd have never thought of assigned initials, firstly, and on top of that, I'd have never thought of those assigned initials being related to graduating class. Smart, see?

LOL you're productive. To be fair though, my main method of procrastination (my laptop), is basically impossible to hide haha. Woops >_>

Yeah, man, it would probably be impossible to go back to a normal life after the time agency. I mean, if you don't know who you are, and someone *told* you who you were for a large part of your life, and that identity and the time in which you lived were both completely malleable...how would you even choose? It's like, by stepping outside of time, you can never ever learn to live back in it again.

And yes, the situational ethics are very interesting. The first murder we see John Hart commit is to save someone who was being held at knife point. Even if the point was to intimidate the "good guy" there into silence. But then we have "murder rehab." So I don't know. They all are completely crazy. Just some (like Jack) are a tiny bit better at hiding it.

Yesssss to all of this! Imagine it's sort of like the military, but exacerbated. Because not only is it that sort of mindset, there's also the added layer of so much of your time is spent living as a variety of aliases, and so much of your time is spent in different periods and places, and there's always this possibility that your mind could be wiped . . . you probably completely lose touch with normal linear time and day-to-day civilian life ( ... )

This reminds me so much of Richard K. Morgan and the Envoy organization in the Takeshi Kovacs books. Also some of Walter Jon Williams' early cyberpunk. I absolutely love it. There is not enough space noir in the world so I'm so glad you're writing it, and doing it so well!

Thank you! I'm glad you're enjoying them so far. I had a lot of fun coming up with five individuals, who each had enough of Jack and John in them to clearly be fellow Time Agents, so you could see how they got and kept the job, but also were their own persons, as well. So hopefully you like the others, too, and also Jack and John themselves when they eventually show up, too! The Time Agency is one of my favourite question marks about Doctor Who, and I really hope Season 6 of Who or Season 4 of Torchwood explores it!

Yes! I really really wish they would! Come on, they put that "two missing years" reference in for a reason! They have to take advantage of it!
