Just a quick post to say a big thank you to everyone who made it Saturday to our blot in honor of Freyja. About a dozen adults and assorted halflings were in attendance including all four Haukafell members (finally!), Chris L., Curt, Pat, and Maggie. Janina, Rob, Mike and Melissa were missed, but hey, life gets in the way sometimes.

You're always welcome, as you know.
We did think of y'all. But we figured that if ever there was an occasion where it wouldn't matter so much if we conflicted with Vingolf, this was it. I am sure you all had a great blot of your own over in Jerseyland. :)

I think we certainly should. Heck, just cuz I am selfish and want to attend both whenever possible!
Now, we do have something coming up on June 7th, that can't be helped because it is a birthday. Otherwise, we have tried to set our schedule for dates other than the 1st Saturday.

You were missed! But we'll see you again, I know. Chris was trying to persuade me to come up for the blot at Colomcile (sp). But I honestly am not sure it will work as I'll be alone with the two kids that weekend.

The complete brain-blank on the Viking birthday song was somewhat embarrassing. Next I'll be forgetting the words to Atenveldt Glorious. (The horror!)

So sorry to have missed this, and sorry that we'll miss the next one as well. (Mom and Dad from Cali coming out to visit and celebrate Liz's 18th b-day and HS graduation)

Happily, we should be able to make it out to the Landvaettir blot in July.

No worries. You warned us that you'll be bizzy-bizzy until after graduation.
I think the Landvaettir blot will be awesome, personally. Glad you'll be able t make it. :)
