Something in Marion's head tells him he shouldn't. That it would be best to leave the man alone to his own misadventures. But alas, extreme, annoyingly irrational curiosity compelled him, and the weird little man being the TA of a subject he was signed up for didn't help.

So, despite his better judgement, he approached Reginald, "Is everything all right, sir?"

He grabbed the kid and ducked behind a large hallway table. Children in the halls! Danger! He peered around the edge of the table, unaware that it offered no concealment.

"Get down! It might see you! You must be quiet..."

If the man suddenly jumping him hadn't knocked the wind out of him, Marion would have screamed. Instead, he couldn't manage more than a pained groan as they hit the ground.

"What..." he said, trying to regain his breath. "What exactly, may see me?"
