Stood in Elder Park with the rest of Adelaide for the Apology this morning. Rudd got things almost spot on and there was a real feeling of elation in the crowd, then Brendan Nelson came on. People left on mass. He kept talking and started on about the Northern Territory intervention. More people left. People slow clapped, they booed, still he went

Nelson looked completely out of his depth. I went to work after he started but I could see where he was going and I'm not surprised people booed. Just watching the news now - looks like people walked out everywhere.

Turns out they did :) I've always suspected Nelson is just a 'filler' leader until the Liberals feel like they've weathered the time when they've got no chance of gaining any ground.
