Stood in Elder Park with the rest of Adelaide for the Apology this morning. Rudd got things almost spot on and there was a real feeling of elation in the crowd, then Brendan Nelson came on. Nelson looked completely out of his depth. I went to work after he started but I could see where he was going and I'm not surprised people booed. Just watching the news now - looks like people walked out everywhere.

Turns out they did :) I've always suspected Nelson is just a 'filler' leader until the Liberals feel like they've weathered the time when they've got no chance of gaining any ground.
