I voted for Britain to Remain part of the EU on a truly apocalyptic morning. Yeah, I think that's how a lot of the rest of the world view us. Understandably. It's over a week later and I'm still oscillating between a genuine grief and a shrieking rage.

Congratulations on the run! That is very impressive.

As to everything else, I don't even know what to say. I could have written a lot of what you said myself - the hope for a Remain victory and the resulting shock, the fury at Farage, the knowledge that I am and have been in a much better position that many other people in this country, wanting a fairer society. Rob and I have been discussing potentially leaving for Edinburgh or Dublin as well, but I don't want to; this is my home. It's all appalling.

To me, it looks like the English ruling elite is nuts and the only person with a plan is Nicola Sturgeon, First Minister of Scotland.

That's how it looks to a lot of us in the UK, too; and I don't even LIKE Nicola Sturgeon or her party. :(

*hugs* I don't think I can express it nearly as well as you, but I share so many of these feelings - I am lucky, and perhaps things won't - materially? - change as much for me as for many, but still I feel so shocked and lost and scared.

Just a few weeks until LFCC - I intend to rejoice in being with like-minded and diverse people; I will need it so much by then. <3
