Trees

I woke up today to the sound of a work crew cutting down trees in the back-patio area of our block (on Saturday! How strange). Due to the way sound carries in this complex, it sounds like they are in our patio or the one next door, even though I can no longer see them. So I keep having to jump up and check if they are cutting down our tree

The suspense is killing me. Did they cut it down or not?

They did not cut our little tree down! Mike also thinks that they didn't take down the flowering tree, just cut off the big branches that hung over the fence. There's some other little trees in the way so it's harder to tell.

It really does sound like things are happening right here when they are all the way down the block, it's impressive.

They did finish up by walking down the back alley with a leaf-blower the blew much of the debris under the fence, though.
