And here I was hoping that this mansion wouldn't be filled with trash, yet it seems that I've already been proven wrong.

First, my replica is here, and he is, for whatever reason, against Van's ideals. Not only that, but his Fon Master Guardian and whoever else he was traveling with were enemies as well ( Read more... )

Is that so?

At least I know that Van's scheme was the only way to rid Auldrant of trash. My replica seems to believe that taking a slow route would have been effective, yet, in the end, it would be too late.

Yes it is.

Auldrant is not trash! The people just have to be taught. You don't murder a pet because it's not housebroken & still thinks what its doing is right. Ion's method is better because he's not murdering innocents. He was a great Fon Master and deserves your respect.

And you will give it to him.

It's too late to teach them. Any attempts would end in failure... They believe the Score is the only future, when it's only one of many possibilities. By protecting the planet, you're only protecting trash...

His method, while out of context has its merits, is too slow. By the time anyone would be even able to make them consider it, it would already be too late.

I will only respect him when I see reason to do so.

...Trash?

Yes, trash.

Auldrant is full of it, the way the people are so dependent on the Score. By creating a world of replicas, however, Van would be eliminating the Score, giving people a free will.

I don't really know the Score...but how does a world made of replicas get rid of it?

The existence of replicas isn't written in the Score. While they normally would only be minor deviances and not enough to alter what's written, if a world were made of replicas, there would be no Score written for them.

Please, Ion... I'll keep them away from you. I won't let them near you, if that's what you want.
