Babies...ahoy..

Thirty six hours later, the screams of the two babies filled the room and mama finally passed out. Things had gone well, surprisingly for the swanmane. The children were healthy, she was safe and now she was curled up in the bed, watching the basinets from her spot.

House wasn't sure he'd ever been so scared. Even with the infarction once they knew what it was they knew roughly how things would go. Giving birth was very different. He stood in the door way exhausted and relieved eyes moving from her to the babies.

He nodded he'd been scared to death. "You in labor was pretty scary."

"Yeah, swanmanes normally don't even live through the birthing. They die shortly after. " Well she hadn't told him that part in the beginning, but..she was alive...

He stared at her. If she had told him that he didn't know what he would have done.

"It's the truth. There's a reason I didn't tell you either. I didn't want you to worry...like you obviously are now."
