How ill equipped the champions of the just cause are, their hearts heavy and their eyes grim, when faced against the battle fury, the burning souls, of their 'evil' counterparts.
What chance does the good man face in war, when his enemies lust for battle, and he disdains it?
'Right is on his side', they will say. Would that it makes a difference.

And now, what a sad world such a view does make. The true and good man loathes violence, to harm his fellow man, either in spirit or in form. The true challenge of the good man is that the odds are stacked against him. The good fortune of the good man is that other good men (And now I realize I am overusing the word, meant to be taken in the spirit of Mankind, but surely Lizzie will smack me later for it, and rightly so) will recognize him for what he is, and aid him, while the evil man must fear his own kind.
The good man dreams, fights for, and creates a good world. A world without fear and violence of any kind.
I would be honored to pledge myself to such a cause.
