To poke a little life here, let me tell you a story about two Gundam SEED female leads.

( This person loves Fllay and it's okay. But they HAD to ruin it with Lacus bashing. FUCK. )

crying "mary sue", character a vs. character b, bashers suck, nostalgia, "real women never wear dresses!!", gundam seed

What was NOT okay was how the mod was demanding, rude and pushy about it, writing about how they wanted to have Fllay revived (dude, way to miss a BIG point of her character and her development) so she could be Kira's girlfriend and True Love (what the Hell, she's DEAD as a doornail. And even if she HAD lived/survived somehow, WHAT would make her automatically Kira's girlfriend? A BIG point of her last scene was how Kira DID care and love for Fllay, and how Fllay DID fall for real for him, but that didn't equal to them being OMG DESTINED FOREVER, and their CHARM was how tragic their deal was). And spamming Fukuda and Morosawa with demands, then OMG boycotting them if they didn't give in? Damn, isn't that so, like, 2005. This is 2010, people, LET GO.Holy crap lady. I know how she feels about a favorite character dieing and a favorite ship not happening in series/movie/book, but seriously. Things like that happen in canon for a reason. Just write some fanfic already ( ... )

Yeah, it has been over for five years. I got the PM almost a year ago, and I was meh when I found it again... but then I commited the error of checking the comm, and its last post is from this year. Meaning, five years have passed and the webmaster is still butthurt because of they didn't get the ending they wanted.

Fans that are butthurt over 'ships that didn't happen need to get the fuck over it. Seriously, why do you people think fanfiction exists in the first place? Bashing the opposition isn't going to make the creator change their mind. All it does is piss people off and it's not worth it.

Not to mention, way to miss the point of Fllay's character entirely. She was a mentally unstable girl scarred and changed by the war, but eventually found it in her heart to love Kira for who he was. By that point, though, Kira was already falling in love with Lacus. I personally doubt anything would have come of Kira and Fllay. Not to mention Gundam shows are generally very tragic. That's the nature of war. I was sad when Fllay died, but I also thought the ending was appropriate.

Oh God, THAT place. I stumbled on it ages ago and was Not Amused by the Lacus bashing, any pairing or character love comm that has to bash the "rival" to build up their favorite is automatically made of suck in my book.

A little late, but am glad I came. In the midst of clicking the link to the community I have now come to see that they have posted my video saying it was for their cause and I am their comrade. To which I have left a nasty comment demanding in my own way to have my video removed. This person can't run around stealing shit claiming it's for their "cause". That video was for the original Kirafllay communities Fllay contributation project. I love Kirafure and it is my OTP and sure the idea of Fllay living is appealing to me, but like you said she died for a reason, and this definitely wouldn't make her automatically Kira's girlfriend.

This person makes me almost ashamed that Kirafure is my otp >.
