You can dislike Kotori all you want- she's not the BESTEST CHARACTER EVER!- but, first off, Kotori is not an evil, whorish stalker, thank you very much. Yes, we all know she's really cute and lots of boys are attracted to her but- that doesn't neccesarily mean she sleeps around with them, and that doesn't make her a whore either. Wtf how could anyone hate Kotori? She's so inoffensive and adorable. Plus any woman that can inspire any sort of romantic feeling in Kamui must have it going on ;)

Ugh...

This is one of the main things that tends to make me dislike X, and a great deal of its fanbase.

I am really tired of Mangaka shoving their female characters into objectified, tragic, hyper-feminine roles =_= ...while pretty much glorifying the male character's, their relationships, and struggles.

...and fandom latching onto the dynamic and making out the women to be conniving bitches because they dare have personalities, desires, and meaningful relationships with male characters.

Why is it that being a male Casanova/Don Juan/Womanizer potrayed in a positive light, where a girl is labeled "slut" for well, everything? Maybe for simply existing?

To be honest, Kotori used to annoy me a lot, but as the story progressed, I realized that I did not dislike her personality, so much as the situation she was pretty much thrust into >_> it is like... I don't even know--CLAMP fed the pedestal they put her on viagra, or something.
