People hate Yoruichi? Now, that was unexpected. She seems to be the sort of character that everyone likes, and... well, I prefer other characters to her but she still seems pretty cool. o.o

Odd. o.o There, give the haters my bitchslapping!Orihime icon for me, they deserve it.

My beloved Orihime... She's so wonderful and sweet. Yet all she gets is hatred lately, because OMG how dare she have feelings for Ichigo and not being buch and kill-happy.

I've only seen a few scenes of Bleach, but she...seriously -what-? Granted I'm biased from a few scenes but she was like...picking this guy's but apart when um, Bondage Guy was just "oh noes D;"

Hell, I've seen a friend of mine bash her for being STRONG. Because ZOMG no female characters should ever be allowed to keep up with the men in strength and power. Seriously, this person is a big fan of "boy saves girl" relationships...and she's female. O_o I just...gah. I can understand her not being someone's favorite, but wha..?

Okay. So I don't mind "boy saves girl" relationships as long as they're well-handled (i.e.: not having the girl just cowering and screaming, but also helpung the boy whether it's physically, intelectually or emotionally), but... eh, WTF.

If a woman *is* physically strong in canon, heh, there's nothing wrong with it as long as she's not the "strong, rude, mannish bitch" stereotype that gives strong female charas a bad rep.

*loves the Tatsuki, Matsumoto, Kuukaku, Nell, Nanao, Rukia and Yoruichi as much as she adores Orihime, Yuzu, Hinamori, Isane and Unohana * <3
