:D So that extra strip of cloth wasn't necessary and yes, like so many other outfits, it was impractical. Like everyone else's. I prefer to call the costume design... unique and rather bohemian-ish, instead of anything else because it is rather special and all. Or in short: bitch plz; they're sometimes weird, sometimes impractical, sometimes crazy, but their wardrobe is made of awesome. ^_^;;
(I think that non-flesh arm was awesome, in design and everything.)

And I love the designs/clothes that (especially) Final Fantasy characters run around with. All those little details! (That goes twice for Shalua's artificial arm. And we got so many nifty details in... that scene at the end of chapter six.)
