Maybe this won't be the answer for you, but it's worked for me. I track all of my eating and exercise on www.sparkpeople.com. It's a free service - all you have to do is create a username. You tell them your weight, how much you want to lose, and they figure out how much you should be eating per day, how much you should exercise, and help you figure out how to eat the right things. You don't just get a calorie range, either - you also get a fat, protein and carbohydrate range.

There are message boards as well, which I'm using a little bit, but mostly I just am loving the nutrition tracker so much.

Good luck, whatever you choose to do!

This is EXACTLY what I was going to suggest. It's got meal plans, plus the "earning points", while a little cheesy, really does motivate me to track things, lol. If you decide to join and set up a SparkPage (kind of like MySpace for weight loss), please let me know and I'll add you as a friend!

isn't weight watchers free? but i guess you don't want to have to weigh yourself in front of a bunch of strangers.
