in theory that's true. however, in practice it has two issues. the first, I didn't do well enough to go straight to calc 3, but I did do well enough to skip calc 1, and second, Math in College is like Math in High School, except difficult...easing into it can sometimes be a better idea then just taking the hardest classes imaginable.
