The other is that you have rekindled much of the old-world punk thought in my head. I knew moving up here would do that to some extent, but the interest overlap was very reminiscent of school, which I considered a very positive time, even with all the chaos.

One of the reasons why I like you is that you take your prowess and determination and put them into something you enjoy (writing), and do it well. I highly respect that and love it when people can side-step the rat race and go with what they want to do. I know I am too risk-adverse to do that at this point in my life, but I won't rule it out in the future either.

A reason why I like you is it's difficult to meet people who don't know you or know of you from one circle or another. Your footprint upon the world is both awe-inspiring and a warning to others. I like that in a person. :D
