In which they finally arrive in New York.
As soon as Dean managed to find a parking space, he was out of the car and heading for the trunk. He didn't want to prolong this any more than he had to, given what was at stake and the state of their relationship as it was. He hated being one of those guys who wasn't there when the chips were down, but he knew that in this situation, he didn't have a choice. He couldn't afford distractions. He wanted there to be some, for Sam's sake, but he couldn't have any on his end.
He just needed to focus. The more he focused, the sooner he'd get this done, and the sooner he got it done, the better for everyone it would be.
He popped open the trunk and started pulling out the various supplies they needed to demon/angel-proof Anna's place. It wasn't much, but it would have to be enough for right now. If anything, he could run to one of the local occult dealers in the area and get it. New York was full of them -- why did you think Bela had picked to live there of all places?
He paused for a minute, before lifting his head and looking over at Sam. "You got those books Bobby had on wards against angels?"
